Hello there. Thanks for dropping by. Please put your feet up and relax - though you might want to brush the chair off first, I had pizza last night and I am, if nothing else, a messy bugger.
Here you'll find lots of information about me and my books. Most of it will probably be the truth as well, which is rare for the internet, in my experience. Enjoy!

All change! - New covers for the Love... trilogy

Hi folks,

You may have noticed that the covers for the Love... books have changed recently, so I thought I'd write a blog post about why this has happened - just to keep you up to speed, in case you were wondering.

Simply put, while the original covers were nicely designed and 'did the job' so to speak, they also didn't really reflect the content of the books. They were what you might describe as typical 'chick lit' book covers: all pastel shades and arty images... which would be fine with another series, but if you've read the Love... trilogy you'll know that they aren't what you'd call standard chick lit material.

There are far too many references to bodily functions, for instance. Also, the word 'f**k' is used dozens of times, and there's even a few 'c**ts' thrown in for good measure. Also, somebody craps into a pedal bin in book one. I don't know about you, but when I picture the kind of thing you'd find in a chick lit book, that is definitely not one of them. Nor is spackling the face of Jesus Christ with semen, for that matter.

Good God, what the hell is wrong with me?

Anyway... given that the books are what you'd cheerfully describe as 'warts-and-all' in their approach to romantic comedy, we thought it was a good idea to change the covers to reflect that approach.

Hence the new versions, which are far less subtle and, er, chick-lity... but are a lot louder, bolder and brighter:

I like the change a lot, as do my publishers. Hope you like them too :)

The third book, Love... Under Different Skies, is released as a paperback on December 5th

You can buy the three novels at all online retailers, including Amazon and Apple iBooks, and in bookshops.
